' is comparable in its weirdness, shrillness and wilfulness to that certain something that Felix Landerer has been bringing to the stage'

'..this piece also reflects spiritual stagnation, brutalisation and hopelessness. And great new choreographic theatre.'

"Kaufenland" confronts the uncomfortable realities of consumerism without hesitation, presenting a polarizing experience that raises more questions than answers. Influenced by Erich Fromm's work on modes of being, the work challenges audiences to rethink their approach to life and society. Through thematic exploration, choreographic theater, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the performance delves into the theatricality of consumer environments, sparking reflections on rebellion, vulnerability, and societal values.

How can we preserve our humanity and foster genuine connections in a world overwhelmed by commodification? "Kaufenland" invites you to witness and reflect on the complexities of consumer culture in a thought-provoking dance experience.
