Isn't It a Pity

This innovative theatrical format weaves together sculptural objects, the human figure, contemporary dance, and an original soundscape. The human-like figures of the sculptures interact with the physical performers, prompting questions and offering multiple interpretations of humanity. Through a series of monologues and voice messages that replay continuously, a narrative emerges, blurring the lines between reality and confession.

The work delves into the impact of the digitalization of nearly all human communication on our understanding of relationships and reality.

Artists note:

When reflecting on our lives, we often think about the people who have touched us—how they entered our lives, the connections we've formed, the support they've given, and their role in helping us face life's darker moments. Some encounters happen by chance, while others recur, creating pathways in our memories that link our past and present.

Living within the interconnected web of many lives is essential for comprehending a deeper meaning of existence. We are inherently social beings, finding profound understanding through our interactions with others. As we move forward, we cannot carry everything with us; only the essentials accompany us on our journey.
