Performance When I don't get enough sleep, I cry
« Performance

When I don’t get enough sleep, I cry, features four female contemporary dancers who explore the shared struggles of existence and the fleeting moments of understanding that can offer liberation from life's constant unease. We all burn and suffer within our own transient lives, rarely finding moments of clarity that can ease our discomfort. In contrast, animals, though unable to read, write, or speak as we do, seem to coexist more peacefully in the same world. Their totality of group understanding is unsaid and unrecognised.

Artist's note:

‘I want you to come and sit and stare out my window sill, late at night, and show me when a fox runs by. I am you, and you are the fox’
